Dr. Sun Huh has volunteered as editor since 2005. He took on the role of journal manager because JEEHP is a small official publication of a public organization that was unable to hire a full-time professional journal manager. Dr. Huh graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1982 and received a PhD in parasitology in 1990. He became a tenure-track faculty member in parasitology at Hallym University in 1988. In 1991, he joined the editorial board of the Korean Journal of Parasitology and continued in this role until 2021. Dr. Huh has participated in the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors since 1996 as a founding member. His passion for medical journals in Korea has flourished through the establishment of KoreaMed, KoMCI, KoreaMed Synapse, and the foundation of the Editors’ Academy. He has also worked as a founding member of the Korean Council of Science Editors since 2011. Dr. Huh served as the president of the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors (April 2020 – March 2023) and the Korean Council of Science Editors (January 2020 –December 2022). He has published articles on editing and publishing, a list of which is available at http://orcid.org/0000-0002-8559-8640. At present, his main interests include adopting measurement theory in medical education along with journal consulting. He has always respected expert colleagues in manuscript editing, English proofreading, illustration, PDF layout design, information technology engineering for XML production, homepage management, and e-submission system management. He enjoys attending orchestra or opera recitals with these colleagues or editorial board members.

Ms. A Ra Cho joined the journal in January 2017 as an assistant editor. She worked as a managing editor of the Korean Journal of Medical Education from 2009 to 2016. She received MA in medical education from The Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, Korea, in 2010. She is an expert in the review of manuscripts. Dr. Younjae OH has served as the Ethics Editor of the Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions from 2021 to the present. Since 2014, she has worked as an associate professor at Hallym University College of Nursing, in Korea. She graduated and received a PhD from the Korea University College of Nursing. She also completed her MA at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, in Bioethics. Dr. Oh is an expert in publication ethics. Dr. Andrew DOMBROWSKI received a joint PhD in 2013 from the University of Chicago in Linguistics and Slavic Languages/Literature. Subsequently, he completed a post-baccalaureate health professions program at UC Berkeley Extension and has worked as a professional biomedical editor since 2015. During that time, he has edited over 3,500 articles from diverse medical fields, ranging from public health and policy to surgical specialties and basic research.

Dr. Eunah SHIN has been an associate clinical professor at the Department of Pathology of Yongin Severance Hospital, Korea. She graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Shin has worked as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pathology and Translational Medicine since 2014. She joined JEEHP in 2017. As an experienced English manuscript editor, certified by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS), she checks the information structure of the English in journal articles.

Dr. Yunhee WHANG participated in curriculum development for the International Writing Center Association in San Francisco, California, USA. She also received an MEd degree in TESOL and a PhD in Applied Linguistics at Boston University, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She has taught writing and presentation skills in academic and business settings in Korea. Using a profound understanding of non-native speakers’ English patterns, Dr. Whang is able to proofread manuscripts with a clear understanding of the author’s intended meaning.

Dr. Hyun KANG graduated from the College of Medicine at Chung-Ang University and is currently a professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Chung-Ang University Hospital. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Section Editor of the Korean Journal of Pain, and Editor of Medicine as well as Editor of the Journal of Lipid and Atherosclerosis. In addition, he is actively engaged in academic activities for renowned medical journals.

Mr. Yoon-Hwan LEE graduated from Hallym University in 1999. He received a master’s degree in statistics in 2002 and has worked as a lecturer since. He has been employed as a consultant in biomedical statistics for medical faculties, and he joined JEEHP as a statistical consultant in 2017.

Ms. Hyun Joo KIM graduated from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea, in 1995. She has worked at InfoLumi Co. for scientific journals since 2011. InfoLumi is a preeminent manuscript editing company in Korea and has been operating since 2009. Currently, InfoLumi provides services for more than 70 scholarly journals. Ms. Kim has also worked for PMC journals, including the Korean Journal of Family Medicine. She is one of the foremost manuscript editors in Korea.
